WinterStorm Rock Weekender

Booking Terms and Conditions

There is almost an hourly stream of social media posts urging music fans to buy advance tickets and support the industry. We absolutely need and want advance ticket purchases but the onus is on us as event promoters to make you feel safe with making that commitment; not for you to have to weigh up unknowns

WinterStorm has established a strong customer base over the years and we have tried to do this through a clear understanding and communication of what the customer is buying and what is involved throughout.

ALL of your ticket monies and hotel deposits are secured in a separate deposit account and held until they "mature" which is the day after the event takes place. Up until then ALL funds are secured and held for full emergencies.

Line up changes became the norm post COVID but we have no indication that any changes to the bands booked are likely and as soon as any changes are made we will announce these to ticketholders as quickly as we can. Line up changes are part and parcel of a multi band event these days and should be built into your ticket purchasing decision. We strongly recommend that you do not buy a ticket on a single artiste basis as refunds are not made for line up changes.

Advance Weekend Tickets

Pre public advance tickets are sold through private links to previous ticketholders and are normally sold blind, that is ahead of any line up announcements. In the past these have gone on sale as early as December and the latest the beginning of January. These are the cheapest tickets available ALWAYS.

These tickets are advance sold on the basis that there is a guaranteed refund date - usually at the ed of February - where ticketholders can requests full refund if the line up is not to their taste. No questions asked.

Public Sale Weekend Tickets

These tickets go on sale to the public immediately after the close of the Advance weekend tickets and this is usually the beginning of March.

Storm Force Spread Payments

Since year two of WinterStorm we have offered a range of Direct Debit options ranging from ten to six monthly payments. The earliest purchased are the cheapest and are usually only slightly more expensive than the Advance Weekend Tickets. Again these are fully refundable up until the cut off period but will accrue a charge to cover the financial set up of the debit scheme.

If payments are missed for any reason we shall automatically request a payment within a fortnight of the missed payment date. Any outstanding balances must be cleared before any tickets are issued.

Accommodation Packages

The accommodation packages include weekend tickets as outlined and the advance priced packages are also refundable under the same terms as above.

Early booked Accommodation Packages are priced at the Advance Purchase ticket price and are therefore the cheapest available price available. We work hard with our accommodation partners to ensure that the room rates are kept competitive.

The non refundable deposit amount will vary year to year but will be a minimum of £150 per person and balance payments will be due eight weeks before WinterStorm.

All accommodation packages unless stated include full bed and breakfast and weekend tickets for each person.

Invoices will normally be issued within a short period of the original booking showing the total price of the package less any deposit and clearly stating the balance and date due.

Day Tickets

WinterStorm has always been sold as a weekend or multi day event and the release of day tickets are strictly limited in numbers and will only go on sale for a limited period of time. Day tickets, like weekend tickets are non refundable and it should be reiterated again that line up changes do not trigger any refunds. The purchase is for a day ticket and not any of the artists or bands listed; line up changes whilst not expected are unfortunately a possibility.

Ticket Issuing

All of WinterStorm tickets have to date remained printed and posted out. Should we use third party sites their policies will be clearly laid out.

Tickets go out at different times and this will be updated each year on the Ticket and Packages page.

Physical tickets are then exchanged for a Wristband at event check in.

Refunds and Resales

The simplest rule of thumb is that beyond the close of the advance tickets there are NO REFUNDS.

We do not have a direct resale function and any posts appearing on our Facebook page will be treated as scammers and deleted. At this time we push all ticket resellers towards Twickets as a reputable reseller site.

If you need to resell your accommodation package please email us with the details and we shall endeavour to sell this for you by reposting it online

Our Store

WinterStorm have always felt more comfortable selling our tickets directly through our own store although occasionally we will use third party ticket sites for sales. These third party sites will ALWAYS be listed on

Service Fees

WinterStorm have decided to price their tickets inclusive of all charges. This ensures no shocks and additional charges at checkout. For refund purposes the following should be noted.

Tickets are normally priced on a 6% transaction fee which includes card charges, transaction fees, equipment hire costs, postage and staffing. These fees will apply to tickets whether bought through our direct store or any third party ticketing providers to ensure price equality. Any changes t this should be notified on the Tickets and Packages page

Cancellations and Postponements

In summary, please note that, out with above, tickets and accommodation payments are non refundable. The line up is unfortunately subject to changes beyond our control but equivalent and appropriate substitutions will be made where and when necessary. The ticket sold is for the event and not for a specific artiste and the cancellation and/or change of an artiste should not be seen as a reason for a refund. Tickets are sold on this clear understanding and we hope you understand.

Postponements were something that seemed impossible a few short years ago but we have become experts on this. Should the event be postponed a full refund will be made available less the service fees outlined above. Tickets can be also rolled over should a replacement event be in place. The tickets will be rolled over at the price of the postponed event and no additional fees charged for events with the same structure
