WinterStorm Rock Weekender
Updated 1st October 2023
We have sold just under 800 of the total of 850 available for WinterStorm 2023 leaving us with around 65 available at the above date per day. The remaining tickets are linked below. Please note that there are NO booking fees or postage costs to add to these ticket prices - they are included in the listed price, so no scary surprises at check out!
A very limited number of caravan and motorhome spaces were released and there are now only three left.
We have had an internal chat about how we best handle the tricky refunds situation for WinterStorm and have updated our policy as of 1st of October. You can read it in full here but in essence that while we understand that there are sometimes strong mitigating reasons for not being able to attend we cannot have a blanket refund policy. It is simply not viable and could totally undermine the whole event.
However we accept that we have already sold the ticket and whilst we need to continue to direct sell our own it is right to try to help thjose who wish to sell their unwanted tickets. To that effect the first call to action on the ticket page will be the one below suggesting that buyers consider the resale tickets available through Twickets. This is not a panacea but it fits with our ethos and will be our policy from here on in for ticket only sales. Ticket sellers should go to Twickets to list their tickets.
Single, Two and Three Day Fully Paid Tickets
All pre paid three day tickets bought before 31/7/23 have been mailed out. All other tickets will be mailed out within a fortnight of purchase on
Hotel Vouchers and Tickets
Direct Debit Tickets
To help those who can no longer attend we are happy to promote the link to Twickets and encourage you to consider purchasing from this route. Twickets is not perfect as it still charges a fee but it is better than some of the other options. Please consider helping someone out who can no longer make it. Please note that WinterStorm are NOT responsible for any part of the transaction between the ticket seller and buyer through Twickets. Please follow all best practice in making sure that the seller is genuine. Twickets has strong controls so it should be easy.

All of the initial Troon based accommodation sold out early on but we added a number of new hotels for the two night packages around Troon including the Riverside Lodge Hotel and Gailes Hotel in Irvine, The Park Hotel in Kilmarnock and The Carlton Hotel in Prestwick. If your budget can extend to it, we have also secured a number of rooms in The Marine Hotel in Troon overlooking the Open Championship golf course.
We released these rooms back to the hotels at end of May - should you be looking for a package please contact us by email and we'll do what we can with the hotels we have on board. We will then quote you directly. Please note that all accommodation packages will now require full payment at the time of booking.
More details are available on each of the hotel pages below along with links to book - some may require a drive or shared taxi, whilst others are accessible by train. We are looking at shared options and car pools over the coming weeks and months to minimise both cost and carbon footprint.
A deposit of £150 per person is taken at the time of booking. Balance invoices have been issued and are payable by the 28th of September at which time tickets and vouchers will be issued.
If you require information or help with late bookings for B&Bs, Self Catering or campervans please get in touch.
