Trucker Diablo are back with their explosive new album "Fighting For Everything" and they'll be taking the short hop across the Irish Sea on the ferry to join us in Troon for WinterStorm 2018. And they are going to give us that same bit of (Northern) Irish spirit that yer man Ricky did back in 2016!
The band was born in 2008 and quickly gained a name for themselves picking up endorsements along the way from their peers such as Ricky Warwick, Ginger Wildheart, Joe Elliot, Damon Johnson and Cormac Neeson. 2011 saw the band be hand picked by festival promoters to appear at Download Festival and finish off the year supporting Black Stone Cherry on the sold out Irish leg of their UK tour. Leading right into 2012 the band has their single “Drink Beer, Destroy” feature on Kerrang TV, MTV Australia and Xbox game Rock Band 3. Ever since the band have never looked back. Keeping the foot firmly on the pedal in 2012, Trucker gave their home fans a blistering performance supporting the Foo Fighters at the Tennents Vital festival.
Since 2012 the band released Songs of Iron and Rise Above The Noise, played festivals such as Steelhouse and Ramblin Man as well as being nominated for the NI Music Prize (which this year is giving a legend award to Vivian Campbell). Tours included a run of O2 Academy shows, as well as opening for Air- bourne, Ginger Wildheart, Thin Lizzy, and playing with Black Label Society at Hard Rock Hell.
On the live front the band close 2017 playing Planet Rockstock and headlining the Rock N Roll Circus Annual festival in December in Wales and have already lined up a headline spot at Rockwich festival in August 2018, WinterStorm in November and also as yet unannounced European shows.
Trucker Diablo are firmly back in the driving seat and have just released their brand new pledge funded album "Fighting for Everything with rave.ross the world.
