Beers Ales and Ciders
Whilst WinterStorm is of course about the music, it doesn't do any harm to partake of a wee dram or two during the weekend and we've always taken seriously the provision of food and drinks at the event.
We have worked hand in hand with Jonny Morton and his team at The Harbour Bar in Troon since day one and the partnership continues once again this year. We share the same values about quality, pricing and service and we think it's worked out pretty well so far.
The Main Concert Hall Bar
For 2018 there are a few new bits and bobs added to the main bar which is once again situated adjacent to and alongside the main hall. We will be increasing the length of it slightly but our aim is as always to reduce queueing and waits as much as possible however as it sits open to the stage you'll never miss a thing anyway!
It's always been about a bit of choice too. Nothing worse than one major international branded lager and nowt else to choose from! Well we've got a decent selection and while we'll never please every ones tastes totally there are alternatives for most things.
Beers and Ciders
Tennents, Pabst, Caledonia Best and Drygate Six Peaks IPA provide the four pouring lager and beer options with Magners Classic Cider and Dark Fruits on the alcoholic apply stuff!
We have set up a dedicated area this year that will feature at least four ales and a craft cider. The real ales have always been popular and this year we'll feature two from Ayr Brewing Company and another two from Strathaven Ales - one of which is our own red WinterStorm Ale. We also have Thistly Cross cider too.
Wines and Spirits
As ever we have a wide range of both standard and premium spirits for sale and we'll publish a full price list ahead of the event but again most tastes are catered for. We have Sailor Jerry and Jagermeister providing us with support gthis year and you can expect some seaside related rum punches to try too!
The usual selections of red, whote and rose wines, prosecco and champagnes (for those celebrating something special too!) will be available from both bars.
The Sailor Jerry Sessions Bar
The Sessions Bar is much smaller and will undoubtedly come under more pressure this year with the quality of the bands on the Jagermeister Stage this year. We suggest that if you are going through to the second stage that you consider taking your first drink with you. It may save you some time.
It is open the same hours as the main bar with the exception of the extended late night after show party on the Saturday when, subject to licencing, it will be open til 2am.
The pouring options are more limited in the second bar due to space but there will also be a selection of craft beers, spirits and a fair sprinkling of Sailor Jerry and Jagermeister kicking about too! This area is unfortunately over 18's only.
