Troon is located on the west coast of Scotland and the venue sits on the beach overlooking the Firth of Clyde and the Isle of Arran.
It is also incredibly easy to reach!
Almost entirely by motorway now - from whatever direction you are heading for the M77/A77 and signs for Prestwick Airport. Pick up the signs to Troon and Ferry and that's you there.
Thirty minutes from Glasgow by car; an hour and a quarter from Edinburgh. Manchester in well under four.
Nearest station - Troon Railway Station on the main Ayr to glasgow route and the station is a six minute walk from the main stage.
There are up to four trains an hour stopping at Troon from Central Station in Glasgow and from Stranreat in the south for those coming from Northern Ireland.
All gigs in the Concert Hall will be scheduled to finish before the last train north.
Troon is not on a national route but does have linked services to Ayr, Kilmarnock and Glasgow linking with the rest of the network. We will be pursuing the possibility of offering coach transfers back to key locations.

Nearest airport - Troon Concert Hall is on the flight path and can handle Iron Maiden sized jets! It is only three miles from Troon and has a range (albeit limited) of inbound Ryanair flights from Europe.
Glasgow Airport is forty five minutes away and is connected to Troon via rail at Paisley Station
There is no onsite accommodation but we have a bank of hotels, B&Bs and self catering accommodation in and around Troon, Prestwick, Ayr and Irvine - all on the train line and within easy taxi or transfer distances.
